"It takes a village” is not a phrase commonly used in reference to fruit trees but Mokelumne Hill, the small township our cidery calls home, enjoys an abundance of wild plums. In backyards and upon steep hilltops our neighbors granted access to pick these tiny early summer orbs. A long carbonic maceration followed by a rest inside a bourbon barrel provided by Hinterhaus, our local distiller, brings you a wrap-you-up-like-a-cozy sweater cold weather beverage. Please note: this is a still cider
Notes: Tart stone fruit, dried cherries, bourbon, nutmeg
Drinking Instructions: Store upright and chill for 3 hours before drinking. Bottle contains natural sediment at the bottom. Drink in wine glass, tulip glass, or in a low ball with a large ice cube within 6 months of purchase
