Far Away Field Blend- Bittersweet Sparkling Cider

We source nearly all of our fruit from trees within an hour's drive of our tasting room in Mokelumne Hill. In this case though, the apples are from someplace a little further away: Filigreen Farm. We chose to partner with this biodynamic orchard because they're growing several varieties of apples we have planted in our home orchard here in Calaveras County. It will take a few more years to have enough fruit for an estate blend, so for now we'll just have to enjoy Filigreen's contribution of heirloom Black Twig, Smokehouse, Arkansas Black, Sierra Beauty & Wickson apples.

Notes: deep layers of sweet aromatic apple, lightly bittersweet, with a subtle star anise and vanilla finish

Drinking Instructions: Store upright and chill for 3 hours before drinking. Bottle contains natural sediment at the bottom. Drink in wine or tulip glass within 6 months of purchase
